HO Scale vs Doll House Scale

In cleaning out boxes and drawers in my home office, I found a 1995 layaway receipt for a $62.00 at the original “The Train Works” on Hurricane Shoals Road in Lawrenceville, Georgia. I sure miss that store!  It carried all of the Preiser early 1900s figures, horses, and carriages. It was so much fun to visit.  When the store was sold, the new owner discontinued stocking the “vintage” figures, explaining that they were not popular.

Recently, I mentioned to someone that for many years, I have had to add duplicate figures, and figures that are not truly early 1900’s. She asked if doll house accessories would work. The photo below is the answer to that question.
